Brandon C. Brown, MSW, LISW is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a proud alumnus of Northern Kentucky University; where he obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work. Brandon currently serves as a mental health provider, helping youth and adult clients navigate their mental health journeys. In addition, Brandon has an immense passion for working with youth and has dedicated several years to mentoring in his community in various capacities. Brandon also proudly holds the title of author, having self–published four titles including the dynamic, From Burdens to Benefits: Effective Strategies for Mentoring Today’s Youth. In his time outside of the professional space, Brandon enjoys traveling with his lovely wife, reading novels, and binge–watching Marvel movies.
CARMITA N. BROWN, MA, LLPC
Carmita N. Brown, MA, LLPC has a history of working in corporate spaces and within the community. She received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Management from Wayne State University. Her journey of volunteering with various organizations that offered an array of community services sparked a desire to work in the helping field. Thus, she obtained her Master’s of Arts degree in Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary. Her time working as a licensed counselor has further equipped her in her pursuit of becoming an agent for change and advocate for others. Over the years she has worked with a wide range of clients; including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy. In her free time, Carmita enjoys traveling, cooking, and trying new things.
